ROLE:

I was the primary UX/UI Designer for a new interface enabling police and fire depeartments to more easily create, target, send, and edit emergency alerts in accordance with FEMA's Integrated Public Alert and Warning System (IPAWS).

Working in collaboration with an international multidisciplinary agile development team, I advocated for user-centered design practices, with sensitivity to branding, creating a responsive web app that streamlined access to important functionality, with the potential to save crucial minutes and clicks in emergency conditions.

I delivered high-fidelity visual mockups detailing navigation, informational views, and alert creation, while leading stakeholder demonstrations of designs in progress multiple times per week.
